Coffee, Tea or White Teeth?
With the advent of safe teeth whitening, you can enjoy them all.
When you meet someone, do you flash your teeth or hide your smile or do you hide your teeth?
If yellowed or stained teeth are keeping you from looking and feeling your best, whitening---a safe, quick, at-home process---could put a brighter smile in your life and give you confidence in your appearance.
Our whitening material is tough on stains, but gentle on your teeth. Some teeth may be harder to whiten than others, most cases are visibly whiter in just 1 week of treatment.
The Process
Your Teeth are Examined
At the first appointment, Dr. Mudd will examine your teeth and gums and discuss how much whiter the treatment can make your teeth. Before you begin at-home whitening, your teeth must be clean and any gum problems need to be treated. Any cavities should be filled and older leaky fillings may need to be replaced.
Your Molds are Made
Next, molds of your teeth are made. The molds are used to make custom fitting, flexible vinyl trays that hold the whitening gel snugly against your teeth.
You Receive Your Trays and Gel
Finally, you'll be given your trays and whitening gel. You'll be shown how to put the gel into the trays and how to fit the trays in your mouth. You will also be told when and for how long to wear the trays each day. How long you will need to whiten depends on how badly discolored your teeth are and how carefully you follow our directions.
