I have been in the field of dentistry since 1981, practicing five years as a dental hygienist and over 20 years as a general dentist. I opened my own practice in St. Matthews in 1995. 

 

Coming from a family of medical professionals, I found my niche in dentistry. I believe that a smile is the first and greatest impression we can give to those we meet. I've made it my life's work to help others achieve oral health and gain confidence in their appearance. Dentistry has been an amazing career because if you do good things for people, you receive so much love and kindness in return.

 

My focus is on comprehensive exams and educating my patients on the role dental health plays in overall health. When I recommend treatment, I want my patients to understand why it is needed and exactly what it entails. It's much easier for patients to understand a recommended treatment when you can show them a clear image using our intraoral camera.

My goal is to always find my work as rewarding as I do right now. I do this by attending a wide variety of continuing education courses on a regular basis and staying current on the best dentistry has to offer.

I am a member of the Louisville Dental Society, the Kentucky Dental Association and the American Dental Association.

​

There's nothing that feeds the human spirit like helping improve the health of others. I get back way more than I give.
